Make sure you leave your email so that I can reach you in case you are the lucky one this month!!! The winner will be picked on March 25th.
P.S.: Time is of the essence and you need a (wedding) bracelet right away? Please visit my Etsy store or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Looking forward to hearing from you again soon!
Did you know that??? I certainly did not, but I’m glad Google taught me …
But that’s not all I learned today. According to Google, purple not only is Tursday’s color, but also the color of good judgment. It is the color of people seeking spiritual fulfillment. It is said if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind. Purple has been used to symbolize magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Being the combination of red and blue, the warmest and coolest colors, purple is believed to be the ideal color. Purple is the color most favored by artists.
Are you in your closet yet? Digging for those purple clothes and accessories??? Dig deep or go out and get some, and – hopefully – peace of mind will be all yours soon… Fingers crossed!
Dress: Jim Hjelm; Shoes: Miu Miu; Nail Polish: William-tell-me-about-it by Opi; Leather Wrap Bracelet: the lucky elephant; Ring: Deedra’s Dome Cocktail Ring; Cuff Bracelet: Aurélie Bidermann;
If you happen to live in Chicago, you might want to head over to the The Purple Pig now. Not only will it increase your chances of being rewarded with even more peace of mind (the more purple the more peace?…), but amazing food will also be yours and yummi (purple?) wine too, if you like. Not been voted #1 of the 10 best new restaurants in America by Bon Appétit for new reason!! Gotta try The Purple Pig! Yum …
P.S.: Did you know that there is a store out there that sells nothing but purple? No, not kidding! All-purple goodies for women, men, kids, rooms, christmas trees, feet, face, kitchen… If you’re really, really into purple you might want to check it out?!?! “The Purple Store” …
Have you seen the new spring merchandise in stores yet? All those pretty soft colors? So beautiful and sooo promising!! Is winter maybe really over soon? Are the days near when we don’t have to bundle up like eskimos before heading outside, when a t-shirt is all we need? Soon, soon … !?!?! If you, too, are in spring mode, here’s an idea how to add some spice and luck to your new spring outfit!
Isn’t that the best ring ever????

I saw this beautiful piece of art some time before Valentine’s Day, decided it would make the perfect Valentine’s post, bookmarked it, uploaded it, wrote a little something, saved the draft, … and totally forgot about it, until a few minutes ago!!! Sometimes I wish, that aside from incredible, unique treasures like the art print below, Etsy would offer some plain basics too – a box of pretty little brain cells for instance… Could definitely use some here and there!
But then again, maybe it was a sign that my brain forgot!?! Why not make everyday Valentine’s Day? I should say that I am not a big Valentine’s person to begin with, so I figured I post the print just because today! March 1st 2011: True Love Day!!!
8×10 art print by Fewandfar on Etsy.
I just finished a fun round of virtual hop, skip, jump – from my blog to Modcloth to A beautiful mess to Bloglovin to Twitter to Modcloth’s blog ending at Sally Jane Vintage, where I could not take my eyes off Orla Kiely’s Spring 2011 collection. Look at these dresses!!!
I wish I could just take them right off my screen and stick them in my closet, especially the cream and the orange one. Would take the shoes also – even though they look suspiciously like sitting shoes. Bit high for me to be standing around in them, let alone walking. Holly in Heels, have you seen those already, I wonder? Next candidate of shoe crush of the month maybe??? …
Would also make a great wedding or bridesmaid dress.

Who said elephants for kids have to be all cutesy?
These very cool creatures here are just the opposite. Most likely the hippest kid’s elephant out there: the Eames’ elephant – designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1945. It’s available in various colors and can be used as a decorative nursery item or toy. The price tag it comes with is pretty steep, but, fortunately, looking and dreaming is free …
From a kid’s perspective, there’s probably nothing you can’t do with them…
You can lay on them …
… stand on them …
… shower them …
… and even go on an elephant-back ride through the woods!
Nothing you can’t do! … Happy dreaming!
